Completed Projects

Automotive glass replacement and repair has always been a specialty of D&S. The company is a certified installation facility of PPG Prostars, which guarantees quality workmanship and a lifetime guarantee against water leakage.  Only OEM glass is used for replacement of broken auto glass, guaranteeing a perfect fit every time.

D&S offers Seaway residential replacement windows and doors.  Vinyl replacement windows, storm doors and steel entrance doors, are supplied by Seaway Manufacturing of Erie, Pennsylvania.  All windows are custom manufactured to fit the customer’s existing openings or in the case of new construction, the customers requested window sizes.  D&S offers professional installation of all windows and doors.

Residential window and screen repair is also offered by D&S.  The customer can choose to bring the sash or screen to the store or elect to have a D&S technician come to the customers home.  Same day service on replacement of broken or fogged, dual pane insulated units guarantees a homeowner that there are no unsecured openings in their house at night.

Custom shower enclosures can be fabricated to fit any tub or shower opening.  Alumax Shower Doors, a subsidiary of Alcoa Aluminum, supplies framed shower units in a wide variety of colors and styles.  The rugged durability of an Alumax door provides the customer with an easy to clean and durable product that lasts for years.  Coupled with a wide array of glass choices, each shower unit maintains a uniqueness and beauty for every home. Heavy glass shower enclosures are custom made for every shower enclosure. This product utilizes 3/8” clear glass and a variety of colors and finishes of hardware to accentuate the tile or corian of a custom shower unit. All shower doors are professionally installed by D&S Glass technicians.

Custom mirrors are manufactured and installed to customer specifications.  They can be fabricated for any counter top or vanity application, including light and electrical switch and outlet cutouts.  Mirrored walls are also fabricated to fit any application a customer may choose.

Picture framing is offered on an appointment basis.

Commercial glazing is offered through our contact glazing division.  The capabilities include custom aluminum entrance doors, storefront, window and curtainwall fabrication, performed in house by an experienced group of metal fabricators.  The group also includes an insulated glass manufacturing line, glass edgers and custom glass cutting capabilities.

The commercial group offers distribution of glass and metal products, an installed division, which focuses on repair and replacement of existing doors and windows and a contract division which bids on small and large construction jobs.

The distribution division delivers products to all of Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties, and Northwest Pennsylvania. The delivery run occurs to set areas on set days and includes all products that D&S offers, including float, tempered, laminated and mirrored glass.

The installed division focuses on glass breakage and door repair that is needed in a relatively short period of time.  This could include a broken storefront window where immediate repair is necessary to secure a building, or a door repair that is needed for customer access to a retail business or restaurant.
